YUL “SPENCER” (spencerworldwide.com) does it all from film to television, stand-up to stage, animated series to commercials. This multi-talented actor/comic has universal appeal, but his spin on life is all his own. With the support from many comedians, this 20 year plus veteran began his career at the Comedy Store and the Improvisation club in Hollywood.

His first national stand-up appearance was on the Arsenio Hall Show. Spencer made numerous appearances at every major comedy club, touring nationally with a huge following in the south. He sometimes refers to himself as the most popular unknown comic having to have appeared with comics Chris Rock, Joe Rogan, Dave Chappelle and many more.
You may have seen him on Comedy Central’s “Make Me Laugh,” Si-TV’s “Funny is Funny,” “BET Live! numerous appearances on Ed McMahon’s Next Big Star,” BET’s “Comicview” and Wealth TV’s “Show me the Funny”.

Spencer also uses his 15 years of recovery to speak to recovery groups. His extraordinary life has rooms packed with eager listeners. He takes them through laughter and tears in his “One Show at a Time” experience. We say experience because it’s more than a show.
While Spencer continues to perform stand-up, the last five years have been dedicated to his acting career. “Malcolm and Eddie”, “Two Can Play That Game,” “Romeo!”, Replacing Miquel Nunez in the stage play, “Friends and Lovers.” Co-starring in “The Shield” and Burger King’s Steakhouse commercial which was included in TBS’ funniest commercial of 2008.

When Spencer isn’t acting or touring, he’s entertaining on the web with his FSNToday.com site. It’s a funny source for news and politics. Also, producers have financed his one-man show “Ya’ Gotta Go Higher”. It opens June 2009.
